I’m Alice – BBC news anchor, business journalist, media trainer and host.
I have been presenting live TV news for 16 years – breaking headlines and interviewing politicians, business leaders and news makers from around the globe. Outside of the BBC studio, I host conferences and events – big and small – and offer bespoke communication training courses. Let me help you best prepare for your next media moment.
I have been at the BBC’s global London headquarters since 2012 – presenting a variety of news and business programmes across its domestic and international outlets. Over the years I have anchored bulletins on BBC One, Two, BBC News and BBC World News. On the radio I have presented and reported on BBC Radio 4, World Service and BBC Radio 2.
I have been immensely fortunate to cover some of the biggest news stories of our time – the economic impact of coronavirus; Britain’s decision to leave the EU; live election night coverage; the London and Paris terror attacks; the weddings of Prince William and Harry; the Queen’s Jubilee; the London Olympics; and the death of Nelson Mandela.
I have travelled extensively as a correspondent – across the UK and much of Europe. I was formerly based in Moscow and reported all across the former Soviet Union.
Life as a media trainer began a few years ago on the invitation of a studio guest. He was the CEO of a tech startup and wanted a confidence boost. Since then, I have helped businesses – of all shapes and sizes – to hone their presentation skills and empower them to communicate as effectively as possible.
